Help GT540 not receiving email or Facebook

I just got my LG GT540 unlocked phone and had it set up for facebook and email.
I can send emails but not receive any. all the settings checked out when I set up the account.
I also set up Facebook and got all my friends brought in but I cannot see any entries on the wall.
Any clues?

Well I did a factory restore and reloaded Facebook and it now works.
Email got reconfigured and still can send but not receive.
