Gtalk Pics

So I searched the forums for this but couldn't find an answer for it. So my problem is that when I'm in gtalk there aren't pics for all the people, even though they have pics attached to them in contacts. Some have thier pics showing up in gtalk and others don't. The only thing I can think of is that the ones that have a pic in gtalk are the ones that actually assigned their gmail account a pic. The ones without haven't assigned a pic themselves. BUT I did assign my own pic to those people on the gmail site through contacts and those pics do sync to my contacts on my phone, just not to gtalk. Hope that all makes sense! Any ideas?
