Root Headphone issue

I'm running the .588 Gingerbread leak on my DX. Recently it's beginning to have issues with the headphone jack. I hook it up to my car daily to listen to streaming radio. Well the other day it refused to acknowledge that the audio cable was plugged in. But when I plugged in an actual set of headphones, they worked fine. Later that day I had rebooted the phone and then it worked again in the car. So far it has done this 2 -3 times. It never did this under Froyo, and do far this has been the only issue I've come across in GB. Anyone else had this issue?
