Help Help, my droidx crashed.

My droidx wasn't holding a charge. Now when I turn it on it just goes back and forth from DROID to the Eyeball Photo. I took it to the Verizon store and they want to do a hard reset, which means I lose data. Anyone out there have this problem before and know how to correct it without going to the extreme of a reset?

I vote for the factory reset. Don't think there is really any choice.

You sure your battery is charging and has plenty of juice?
