Root How to change your boot up sound the hard way...

Audacity can be found here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows
Click the File tab then Open (chose your mp3 sound) and Open
Just make sure your soundbite is Stereo, and 44100Hz
After you are DONE editing you sound (customize your sound to be -20 seconds long)
Click File > Export
Set Save as type: to "Other uncompressed files"
Click Options
set Header to "RAW (header-less)"
and Encoding to "Signed 16 bit PCM"
click OK and save the file as poweron.snd

that's it have fun and good luck!
