Help how to install custom rom on unbranded tablet

what device do you have? custom roms are very device specific and you need a development community behind it. no dev=no fun......meaning if there is no developer supporting your device, then you will not find any custom roms for it. but that is all dependent on if the device is rootable as well. not all devices can be rooted.

Installing a custom ROM on an unbranded tablet can be a bit risky and it is important to follow the instructions carefully to avoid any issues. Here are the general steps you should follow to install a custom ROM on your tablet:

  1. Make sure your tablet is rooted. Rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as root access) over various Android subsystems.

  2. Find a custom ROM for your tablet. A custom ROM is a modified version of the Android operating system that you can install on your tablet. There are many custom ROMs available for different tablets, so you will need to do some research to find one that is compatible with your device.

  3. Download the custom ROM and any additional files you will need, such as a custom recovery image.

  4. Backup your current ROM and all important data. It is important to backup your current ROM and all important data before installing a custom ROM as the process will erase all data on the device.

  5. Boot your tablet into recovery mode. This can usually be done by pressing a combination of buttons (e.g. power and volume up) when the device is powered off.

  6. In recovery mode, select "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm the action. This will erase all data on the device, so make sure you have backed up any important data.

  7. Select "install zip from SD card" and choose the custom ROM file you downloaded.

  8. Follow the prompts to install the custom ROM and any additional files.

  9. Once the installation is complete, select "reboot system now" to boot into the new custom ROM.
Keep in mind that installing a custom ROM can be risky and may result in bricking your device (rendering it inoperable). It is important to follow the instructions carefully and make sure you understand the risks before proceeding.
