    Hi guys,

I have a good ROM that I've been using for months now. The only gripe I have is not being able to update maps, gmail and other preinstalled apps.

I also want to uninstall Titanium Backup but am not able to.

Is there any way to do these?

    Thanks.

Easiest way is navigate to the rom zip file you installed on your sd card, /system/app and cut them out using astro and paste somewhere else. Reflash the Rom.

Then browse to the apk on sd and install

Thanks. Since gmail and talk etc are essential apps for the system, is it ok to not install them along with the ROM?

Not sure about talk but don't see why.not. I delete gmail before I install defrost. I installed it as mentioned. Since I only install defrost, I dont need to wipe data, so its already there for me every time
