Help HTC Hero - Internet Not Working

Hi Everyone,

New user here, so Hello!

I have recently bought a HTC Hero Unlocked Brand New but when I use it on the internet (with phone signal) it doesn't work. It works fine on WiFi but whenever I try to go on the internet when using phone signal, nothing seems to happen......I get now arrows or anything showing.

I have checked all the settings and they seem to be right.

What could be causing the problem?

Also, Does anyone know how to setup the phone for a Hotmail Account for emails, I tried but it didn't work.

I think I have sorted it...Had to enter Vodafone APN Settings.

Just need to try and set up my hotmail now....

What settings do you have? And where did you go for Vodafone APN settings? I'm in the same boat but need Tesco (which is owned by 02 unfortuanlly)

I just gone into APNs and there's nothing there.

I got the Vodafone APN Settings from here : Vodafone UK, Internet MMS Settings - Android @ MoDaCo

Just done a good search and I have found these for 02 :

1) O2 Forum :: View topic - No 3G support for HTC HERO??!!!

2) HTC Hero APN settings? - Yahoo! UK & Ireland Answers

Don't know if they will work though?

This is the best I could find on Tesco Mobile :

You will have to read them though I am afraid.
