Good find on this. If I could do this and get the Droid r2d2 I might do it, there is still one problem though....even if they gave me $146 for my Incredible, buying a new phone off contract is in the $500 range. Which to me would never be worth it. I do love this phone, it is by far the best I have ever owned but r2d2 is the og Droid!

droid 2 $72 dollars... ouch... the amount of roms coming out for the evo and incredible make it the most desirable phone for people looking for a rooted phone.. I use miui at the moment but as much as I hate that it looks like an ipoone it gets me 32 hours of battery and is just simple to use

The Eris was a very high quailty built phone. I loved it!. if the Eris had the Incredibles software, and was an Eris2 I'd be a very happy man.

Considering I only payed 200 after I get my rebate back, I'd say so :D Even more of a deal if you've used it since launch.. I've only used mine for a month or so..

OK, how exactly does this work? If you have an upgrade you can trade in your phone for that amount and use your upgrade for another phone?

A NEW Incredible on Amazon is just $80.

Too bad I cant trade in my Incredible and my wife's Eris and then get the buy 1 get 1 free Fascinates for $199. I could make a few bucks. lol

Unless your current contract is due for a device discount, you still have to open another line of service to get discounts on current phones. Perhaps if the trade went against a full price device, but VZW would not do that- they want contracts.

Or you could just sell it on eBay or Craigslist, make twice that amount, and use THAT towards a new device.
