Peep no longer works due to Twitter's new authentication. Just giving a heads up for all you that use the Friendstream widget.
    From Engadget:
HTC Peep cooked, served a l'orange by Twitter's new authentication scheme -- Engadget

I use Friendstream and I love it. Guess those days are over.

If you need a good twitter app in the mean time I suggest "touiteur". Made by the same guys who did Beautiful Widgets.

I second this. Out of all the twitter apps I tested, Touiteur is by far the best in my opinion and totally worth the premium version.

This was among the first apps that I deleted after I rooted my phone.

I got my phone at launch and finally rooted it yesterday. I thought my root was what had killed HTC Peep and Twitter in FriendStream.

Luckily it was just Twitter redoing their shiz. ^_^

Try the Tweetdeck beta if you crave that twitter/facebook integration. Its not pretty, but its functional. If you want a standalone twitter app those, go with Touiter like others have said. it has the best combination of features and it looks good too.
