I went from bb .8 back to 2.01 and used the Verizon update...though I temporarily lost root and back to 550 mhz it appears the only thing I lost was the ability to try other roms.....I wont use the terminal window..it's too much work and time but as soon as something like droid roothelper is available for 2.1 I might consider rerooting.....in the meantime I have an awesome phone and never really had a problem....the overclocking never helped me, the notice in speed was imperceptible to me...my phone is FAST as it is
