Installing Android on LG GD880

Hello.

I am interested in LG GD880 Mini, as it is very small and nice, but it has its own OS and I don't like the current LG App Store (yes, there is one!).

So, I wonder if it makes sense trying to install Android (2.1 or higher, if possible) on a LG GD880 Mini. Is it possible? Is it very difficult? Id the phone going to perform well with Android on it??

I am not an expert at all, but if someone gives me a kind of step-by-step instructions, maybe I could do it.

I have another question then, but I think it is not Android-related: can I sync my Google stuff (calendar, mail, contacts) with a LG GD880 device?

You should be able to do that if the phone supports SyncML.

Oh, sorry, here (LG Mini GD880 - LG Mobiles - Review, Features, Images, Videos - Maxabout.com) they say it does have SyncML connectivity...

You can sync your stuff to Google server using that then.
