Since you're allowed to surf the web while in a call, I was wondering if there was a way to get the person you're talking to hear the audio. For instance, I was watching a video on youtube while talking to my friend and it was extremely loud but my friend couldn't hear any of it. Just curious.

Doubtful, since your mic is going to attempt to keep all those outside noises from echoing into the call. Why not just tell your friend the title to the youtube video?

You don't know how phones work do you?

The reason they can hear thise tones is because that is how a phone sends out the number you just dialed, by using those tones. It does not use the actual numbers. Much like way back when the first switcu pbxs were put into place. It hears those tones and switches ports to that "number". Also I remember people used to hack pay phones once they learned what tone did what. The early days of hacking. Lol
Now with the digital day and age it works a little differently but still same concept.

He's not talking about the DTMF tones but the built-in button press sounds in the S4. They sound like water drops, not land line touch tone phones.
