There are multiple issues involved, collectively forming one major and serious issue reg contact no :
1). The facebook import of contacts drops the '+' symbol in the phone number. Ex: instead of +91xxxx we have just 91xxxx though the Facebook contact has it with the '+'.
2). There is no simple and straightforward way to 'Copy' and 'Select' contact detail text. The way to do this is by using the number in a call option and copying from there. (There should be an easy way of copying the Facebok number to the linked google contact!)
3). Perhaps the most serious issue is the fact that while sending an SMS, (using handcent or the in built messaging) the '+' symbol is dropped even though its present in the linked google contact and is set as default!! Because of this message sending fails!
Pls resolve these issues! Anybody has any solution right now?
