K9 mail not pinching???

Okay, this is starting to bug me.

K9 is the best email app I've tried so far, so it isn't a deal-breaker for me, but is there a setting that will enable pinching so that I don't have to laterally scroll?

I already have gestures selected, so that isn't the problem...

I searched for a thread covering this topic, nada.
