By chance... Does the Force use the same speaker as the Sequent? I have a dissembled Sequent here that I could possibly send U the speaker from, Junkie. Both are ZTE...

Well that is very kind of you thank you, not sure really but i aim to find out. Ill just tear mine apart see what i can do. Maybe ill even tear apart an htc or something too see if i can rig in a better one

At the moment im catching up on some downloading, lte works in my house so i went from 30kb/s to 2mb/s... youll have to forgive me if i play with it for a little while before i start tearing things down and fixing them up. But i plan on startin in on cm tomorrow, ill run a build, tear the phone apart while its compiling, then see what i can get worked out on all fronts

Yea I thought so to. It's been like that since I had it. Sent it in for repair they supposedly fixed it but the sound never changed. Didn't do it until I turned srs on.

Just a horribly made speaker, i went to remove it and it came in half... i reassembled it putting a super thin piece of foam inside the coil. Sounds beautiful now... go figure huh? I fixed their design flaws in a few minutes with something i found laying around lol

im running a new build as we speak with a possible fix. ive determined that the kernel module might be whats wrong with wifi, cant make a new module im aware of but im trying to disable version checking in the kernel itself, that way it will load anyhow

You could use a hex editor to alter the version number in the module. Ive done it before to resolve an issue with Wi-Fi with a kernel I was working on for the warp

yea i read that and considered the poasibility. ill have to find the module_layout symbol and match it tho. the lcd module loads fine, qcrypto loads fine, wlan, not so much
