Lg Optimus V Wont start up

I was just surfing the web on my computer and went to check my phone and i found it off. It wont turn on at all and i dont know hot to solve this problem. Anyone know any solutions? P.S. I already tried taking the battery out and charging it.

It might be a heat issue. Leave the battery out and let the phone sit for an hour or so and try again. If you get no response at all from the screen or any of the lights (if there are any) then try plugging in the usb cable and see if anything happens.

If you remove the battery and plug it into a power source, can you get the screen to come on? If not, I think the phone may be DOA.
