Lil help with sms prioritizing...

hey wassup everyone...

i am new to the motorola side of android os but seasoned on adroid os. current phone is moto droid 2(r2-d2). i have noticed that my sms stock app and handcent will not bump new received messages to the top of the threads/screen. i have to scroll down in the app and look for the green dot that is for unread.

is it something i set up wrong or im doing wrong? hopefully someone understands what i am saying here. so if you can lend helping words please do. i am a huge sms addict =).

I dont believe there is a setting for this. This should just be an automatic thing. Threads with new messages get bumped to the top.

Other than rebooting and trying a factory reset, i'd say you have a bad phone

yea i noticed this, im going to just call vzw in the morning and have them send me out another. this jus sucks and my screen is off also in certain spots.

I have the same problem with mine, I just assumed it was they way it worked. I guess I will call Verizon as well.
