Lock CLIQ During Call

My CLIQ keeps hanging up on me when I use the headset. I use the lock button (off) to lock the screen and put it in my pocket. When I move around it hangs up. Is there another way to lock the phone or an app I can use? Any ideas on a solution?

when you get a call or are making one, push the back arrow. this will keep the phone call on, while getting rid of the hang up option on the screen. Then when you want to hang up go to your notification bar, and push the phone icon->end call.

I had the same problem on my wife's cliq. It would hang up or put people on speaker. People told me that I probably had a bad proximity sensor. The sensor should work when u place ur ear on the speaker. U can test this by calling someone and placing ur finger over the speaker It should lock the screen and turn black. Even though my wife's worked from time to time I returned it and the new one has no problem.
