a few months ago I got the 5.0 update, hated it immediately, scrounged until I found this forum and a fix. I got oden and downloaded 4.4.4 and got that back onto the phone after a little headache and all was good again. Well, it came back! Downloaded the update onto my phone but I haven't installed it yet. I'm asking if there is a way to delete the update from the phone as is, without wiping it clean again (huge PITA). My eventual plan was to go back to 4.4.2, install towelroot, then go back to 4.4.4...but thats going to be a pain too.
PS, i tried the powering on in recovery boot and wiping the cache, did it 5 times actually and the update is still there waiting.
