Root MIDI file -> Alarm Sound?

Hey all...I've got a MIDI (.mid) file that I downloaded that, if I remember correctly, was one of the leaked windows 7 phone ringtones...either way, I was wondering if there was any way I could set it as my ALARM ringtone...I know that since its actually an instrument file and not a true audio file that this may not be possible on a cell phone (even though I think I can actually play the file in Astro File Manager...er...whatever), so if this isn't possible its no biggie...and while I'm on the subject, is there any way to set ANY ringtone to use as an alarm tone, or am I pretty much stuck with the stock alarm ringers? Thanks!
