Yes, the menu is very smooth now and apps are extremely responsive.

Install the LMF script from the German forum (I use it to apply the mem hack and the black android theme) and use LauncherPRO from the market, then be amazed at how smooth the homescreen can be even at 550 MHz.

I don't know if you can understand german but it's really easy to install (LMF Script):

Yes, you can always manually install the memory hack and bootloader animations and custom themes. but why not have the script do it for you since you can select which modifications you wish to install from the menu. It doesn't just throw everything off the phone and put custom apps on, you can select what to do.

The LMF script is a bundle of optimizations and customizations + replacements for default apps. Use Google translate on the link I've given above and you'll get a rough idea of what it is and how it's applied (I already wrote some instructions above).

Hi MiRaGe, just flash with the vulnerable recovery and then apply the default root for milestone.

Is something dangerous while doing this what I have to know before start? Can this operation (it seems without flashing SBF file) bricks my phone?

I think you're OK as long as you fully charge your battery before starting. If anything does go wrong you can always use RSD to flash a SBF.

No, your data is safe.

If you flash the SBF be sure to use the service version as that keeps your settings and data.

And my last question so far is- how can I know if my bootloader is 90.78 or lower?
In the guide they say it's only for 90.78 or lower

Well, since you have a stock bootloader I think you're fine. YOu can check by going to the bootloader screen - turn your phone off and turn it on by holding the Dpad-Up on the keyboard and the power button until the screen lights up. Then let go of the buttons and the bootloader screen with the version will show up on the screen.

The LMF script includes a change in the boot animation, but do you happen to know how this can be done manually? I've had a search, but doesn't seem to be many posts on it..

I think the bootanimation.zip should be placed in /data/local

Once I get into recovery it says in the middle of the screen:
E:can't open /cache/recovery/command

and cannot load any update.zip...

what is wrong with my phone now?
