music help

So i have music stored on my sd card but it doesn't show up on any of my media players.(I've tried a few different players)
Anyone know what's wrong?

Have you manually opened a music file to see if it plays with one of those players? Or at least asks you which one to use

If i manually select a file i can choose between google music and the android player. Both will play the tracks. Still no luck though having the players locate my tracks automatically.

They're all mp3s stored in a file labeled music on the sd card. They should be recognized there, right?

Try Mixzing. That will search your whole sd card for songs.
