New tablet won't transfer anything to SD card

I inserted a 32 gb sd card last night into my tablet. I went into the system settings and then to the apps and went through EVERY one of them. None of them were able to transfer to the SD card. Some were able to transfer to the local disk. I tried downloading an app to sd application, and it said that I had some apps that could be moved to my sd card. Well, I clicked on those apps and same thing, could not be moved. This a brand new SD card, please help. Thanks.

What tablet and Android version?

It's likely that it's using a recent version of Android that no longer supports moving apps to SD.

There's nothing wrong with your SD card. Android made some changes with 4.1 and later that makes this unnecessary.
