New to android, thinking of buying one...

Hey guys,

My name is Musa and I am a first time android buyer. I have looked at many different a droid phones and have settled on htc due to the htc sense which is amazing. But I can't choose between the desire and the desire HD. I don't have all the money right now but I plan to purchase one just after Christmas. Should I save up extra and buy the Hd or should I just buy the desire in a about a month or so just before Christmas. Or are there any new android phone coming from htc in late 2010/ early 2011?

Technology changes all the time. When Christmas rolls around, who knows what new phones will be available.
