~newbie to samsung family~

Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

Yes, it's not unusual for the battery to feel warm when you're doing things on the phone. For example: playing games, watching movies, listening to music, and also charging the phone while doing these stuff. Don't worry about it. However, if it gets way too hot to touch - then you should power it down and remove the battery and wait until it cools down before doing anything else on it.

Keep in mind that It's the device radio that gets warm, and not the battery. The radio is usually above or beside the battery. I'm not quite sure of which Samsung Galaxy S2 you have, so I'll just post a link to our Home Page you can then choose your device from the list and join the other users of the same device over at your device's forum of interest.

Thanks for joining these forums.
