Not too stupid a question (I hope)

Where are the photos/videos that I've taken with my phone stored.
I can't find them in any folders when I connect to my PC.. media,image,Pictures,video.. where on earth are they?

DCIM>Camera, just like any normal digicam.

Where the DCIM folder is, depends on whether you set it to store to memory card or internal mass storage.

With a file explorer, look in your SD card at DCIM > Camera.

No question is stupid on the Android Forum, members and mediators are glad to help.

Android will scan the card for media, sometimes it takes a few minutes for changes to appear if you've had it hooked up to computer or been moving stuff around in a file manager.

Your gallery & media apps will reflect these changes. For example, if you use tapatalk & save a picture in there, a new folder will appear in the gallery "tapatalk download". If you don't like seeing many folders in gallery, use a file manager to move those files wherever you like & after a short while, gallery will adjust to your changes.
