Help Note 2 Gallery Issues When Updating Wallpaper and Twitter Pics

Hi All,

I am trying to change the wallpaper on my Note 2 with a picture from the Gallery.

I have tried holding down my finger on the home screen so that the "set wallpaper" dialog box appears. However the Gallery application that launches after selecting this dialog box shows that my media folders are empty. (i.e. I cannot set any of my pictures as wallpaper).

This is also true when I try to change my profile picture in Twitter.

Is this a bug in the software? I am running the latest 4.1.2. Can anyone shed some light?

PS I have tried the Rescan SD card app as well as resetting the phone.
