Buddy picked up a Note 2 for Verizon from some little shop in town. At first, when he made calls with it, no one could hear him. The guy fixed it.
But this phone stays in 3G only. Doesn't do 4G. It's i605 like mine from Verizon, but his doesn't have the markings on the device. He's done multiple factory resets. We even put his SIM into my Note 2 and it popped 4G instantly.
Any idea why 4G isn't being picked up? Worst case, he's going to exchange for an S4.
