Help Notification Sound - WhatsApp

Hello all,

I am from India and I use the Moto X2. There was a recent update for WhatsApp and after that my "notification sounds" are not working. I have actually un-checked the "show notifications" from the Settings due to privacy concerns. Even when it was like that, I used to get the "sounds" when any new message comes in WhatApp, but now that is not working. Can anyone suggest me what to do. It would be of great help.

OS: Android 5.1

You posted this in the Droid X2 forum. That device is old and does not run 5.1.

You are apparently using a Moto X. Which model are you using?

I use a Moto X2 (2014) model of the phone, which runs the 5.1 now.
