After transfering most of my mp3s and such from itunes(have an ipod touch) to my droid eris I got to thinking....when I go into the 'music app' it loads up how many albums I have as well as any album art and what have you...does doing so take up any of the valueable ram that is used for apps running in the background and possibly if overused slows down my phone? Would I notice any sort of system performance degrade with say 30+ albums?

I have close to 80 different albums on mine and have not seen any problems. The software is designed to allocate memory to the app running in the foreground so it shouldn't be a problem.
