Well, my OM's are finally dead. My wife and I had bought the OM+ and given our OM's to our oldest two children (son and daughter) as alarms, MP3 players, etc. The other day, my son told me that the touch screen doesn't respond any more. I tested it out, and sure enough, you really have to jab at it to get it to do anything, and even then it may not respond correctly. Last night, my daughter swung hers (she had a neck strap attached up in the corner) and it hit her younger brother's leg and now the screen is broken. The glass didn't break, but the LCD is all a mess; multi-colors, all squiggly and such. She obviously jarred a connector loose, or maybe even broke the LCD, I'm not sure. Both phones had been dropped a lot, but both have had jell cases on 'em from day one so have been mostly protected. Maybe they both finally had one too many bumps/jars. R.I.P OM's. You were great phones, and you were my first Android. I'll always remember you.
