Hello, I just recently replaced the screen, back glass and battery in my friend's Nexus 4. Last night the charging port caught fire and fused the cable to the port. He had a look at the battery and that looks fine so I don't think that's the cause. Anyone have any ideas on what could have possibly caused it? Also would replacing the cable and usb fix it? The rest of the phone looks alright in the photos, or would it be likely to do it again? What would people recommend? Thank you.
