Phone Home application not working...

Hello, Just yesterday night around 11 i was moving my apps around in my home page of my LG Esteem. Then it just gave me the message " The Application (Process android.process.lghome) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try agian." Then i would keep pressing force close but it would keep coming back. I was a stupid idiot and i accidentally put it on airplane mode so i cant get wifi or data connection . Is there any way to fix this or do i need to get a new phone because i am really tight on money right now.

Have you tried powering the phone off? There is usually an option on the shut down pop-up that allows you to change the state of Airplane mode.
