Help Phone time/app time out of synch

Hi, I've had my Xperia S for about three weeks and all was fine until about a week ago when suddenly the time stamps in both the Facebook and Hotmail apps were running about 8hrs behind. For example, an email that came through at 9am UK time showed on Hotmail as coming through at 1am.

I've been through both apps, the phone and my browser (Firefox) looking for a setting to adjust but cannot find any way of doing so.

Any suggestions to fix this annoyance welcome.

Never heard of that before, is your phone's settings set to automatic?
