If the evo is in my pocket i can not get the phone out without the slid bar moving on the touch screen and ending call, I tried an email to HTC and they had no answer. I tried the dot code thing in security but that did not work for answering the phone....
So does this happen with your HTC EVO ?
I would love the iphone style swipe entry to the phone, Also the battery sucks...... and the 4 g burns out the battery in 2 hours... i have the app killer thing...

So i can not answer a phone call with the phone in my pocket...

I LOVE THIS PHONE AND i left an iphone after 3 years and would not go back.

Any tips for the evo and my macbook pro ?
contacts on to my phone etc ?

htc EVO with the new Froyo ... I locked the phone with pin and installed Lock 2.0 free version. Free only lets you slide with no password, which should be OK... The lock does lock the device in general.... but the problem... the call comes in... the up to decline, down to answer is STILL the first thing that comes up and you only have to slide down, as before, and the call is taken!!!! This problem stinks!!

Put the phone in your pocket upside down. I do that and I've never had a problem. Either that or wear looser clothes.

I don't grab the screen of my phone anyway, I grab the sides.

    That is hardly a solution.

Has anyone figured out a modded answer screen?

Quit wearing skinny jeans? With a little extra room you should be fine. And your future kids will thank you.

I never have this issue (i use a holster)

But I noticed that when I have an incoming call I don't get a slide to answer....I get the green ANSWER button and red DECLINE button......the only thing I can think of that makes my setup diffent would be widget locker...$1.99 in the market.
