Apps possible to scan qr code link to another UI within the app?

i want to create an android app using eclipse, first it can generate qr code which will save into database but here is the problem. What should data should i save so that when an user scan the qr code using the app qr code reader from this app, it can bring user to another viewer or UI within the app. Can i know is it possible to be done? Can show me some sample code?
i intend to use the zxing. I am using java language.

or will it be better to use an third party( another app) qr code reader to scan to bring to my app viewer?
