Hi, my wife just experienced a weird text to her phone. About 10 minutes before the text, she she texted me saying how her neck hurt and would like a massage (stop s******ing!). About 10 minutes later she received a message from an unrecognised mobile number, offering discounted offers on massages in our city, naming a specific road and asking to text her details to the number.

Has anyone ever heard of some kind of keyword monitoring hack? Both AVG and Mallware Bytes says the phone is clear. The phone hasn't had any weird messages from it or exhibit any other signs of being hacked. The only odd thing it did was turn itself off during the other night and took a long time to boot the next morning.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Install a permission manager like the one from infolife. Then you can easily see which app accessed your text messages and the time when they last accessed your text messages. Very easy to use and free... try it.
