Problems downloading apps and games (LG Eve)

I'm facing problems downloading games and apps from the android market on my LG Eve (GW620). It says my item will be downloaded, but the bar does not show any percentage (it's remains grey) for a very long time. So far I only succeeded in downloading 3 apps but I still have to wait about 10 minutes. The rest took longer than 10 minutes so I just gave up. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

How are you trying to download them? Through wifi or 3G connection?

I'm using wifi.

Is there anyway you can test with 3G data connection instead of wifi? This may rule out a router problem.

It's still not working. It always get stuck at the 'downloading' part, but there is no progress shown in the progress bar. Is there some way to download apps through the computer?

i have had this problem as well, though not that often, most apps/games i download will instantly start transferring data, but sometimes it won't download @ all. i'm using wifi as well...

I have run into this problem. While at my office I use the open WiFi to download apps, and this happens about 20% of the time. At home, using WiFi again it never happens.

The kicker is both WiFi routers are D-Link, and the one at work is significantly newer. I don't have a solution yet, except maybe update the router firmware.

Hey everyone! Good news! I have found a solution to this problem (works for me at least..) Just take out your sim card (the one that determines your phone number), and download your games using wifi. After finish downloading, then just put your sim card back in to use

hey i also faced this same problem but today i got solution for this...hope it will work for u guys also....

Just do 1 thing....

relogin to ur google market and signin using googlemail.com
for eg...

Username:- xyz@googlemail.com
Password:- abc

enter @googlemail.com instead of gmail.com...
