Hello all,
I 've recently bought HTC Desire, that came with version 2.2 preinstalled.
Network: Only Wi-Fi (@home)
Taskiller Used?: No..should I? If yes which one do you recommend?
Not rooted.
When I am text messaging I write with greek characters.
The problem is that when I send a message it doesn't get delivered everytime.
However, it says that is delivered (when I constantly click on the sms I 've just sent > "Show ..").
The coding by default was greek ( 7-bit).
I've changed it to unicode (16-bit).
The frequency of the problem has declined heavily but it still happens some times.
Also, the problem occurs when one specific number sends a message to me. Generally, I've noticed the problem with 2 other numbers..the one above and another one.
I don't know what's wrong but it is really annoying.
I mean spending 430 euros for a mobile and having problems with one of its most important features . . . .
When I called my provider they told me that the problem rises because smartphones are allowing 70 chars per sms while the older phones used 160 per sms. And that creates a conflict that may be the reason of the problem.
What should I do?
Do you have a solution?
Thank you for your time!
