Due to GPS glitches with my Pre Plus on Verizon, they have given me the option of exchanging my phone for any phone I want. Obviously, an Android device would be my first choice for an exchange. However, I stopped by the Verizon store last night to check out some Android devices and I was surprised by the video. I went to YouTube and checked out some videos and on all of them (Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, Samsung Fascinate), the video was just letterbox and also cut off on the edges (kind of like when you watch a non-HD program on an HD channel and it cuts the edges off). I was surprised b/c these phones really tout their big bright screens. Why doesn't video take up the whole screen? Even though my Pre Plus has a smaller screen, b/c YouTube videos take up all of it, the videos are actually bigger than on any of the Android phones. Just curious about this.
I'd also be open to tips/advice/suggestions on what Android phone on Verizon would be my best bet.
