If you're looking for the best review I'd have to say this isn't it. We already know everything he told us and it has been out for days. It was basic stuff and no substance.
Just my $0.02 nothing personal, unless you're the one who did the review.
Wow, much as I love the EVO, it takes forever for it to start back up from a hard boot ( i think that's the correct term) from the time he inserted the battery at 6:50 until the time the lock screen came up at 8:38, that's almost literally 2 minutes for it to come back on.
I haven't had a smartphone before but does that seem extreme to anybody or is that fairly typical of something that is equivalent to a miniature computer?

I dunno. My iPhone 3GS only takes about 30 seconds to boot up when it isn't jailbroken. Jailbroken somehow makes it boot up slower and it takes about a minute. But it never takes that long to boot up.
My iPhone 3gs starts up in 23 seconds and turns off in 9 seconds, so I wouldn't really say it's the norm. I've never owned an Android so I'm not sure if that's the norm for Android or not though.
I'm thinking about making the dive into Android because of the Evo, but I'm going to wait until the iPhone anouncement in a couple weeks first to compare the two. Either way, startup and shut down time really isn't that important. I only restart my phone about once a week on average anyways.
Oh, well EVO FTW then..... I have to get used to the fact that not everything is going to be as nice as on a dumbphone.... IE reboot times, battery life and other things like that.

It's been weeks since I've hard reset my hero. Who cares? The pre was a pos that randomly reset and needed almost daily resets. At least at release and for several months afterward. The iphone is solid, as is android. You don't need frequent resets.
