Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that also enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating, or any form of "pay to flash".

"Give credit and thanks where it's due!" That's something that has fueled the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....

| OmniROM | AOKP | ChaOS | CyanogenMod | Paranoidandroid | SlimROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |

Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

I'm interested in a custom ROM, but as I mentioned in the VIPER thread I've had issues with them not working with my Martian Notifier smartwatch, so unfortunately "bluetooth acts wonky" is a big red flag for me.

Well, this is AOSP. Quite a bit different than what you might be accustomed to with Sense. However, the only thing I could possibly recommend is trying it out for yourself.

I get that. Not trying to blame anyone or criticize, just explaining why I'm reluctant to give it a shot. Apologies if I ruffled any feathers.

If CyanogenMod is AOSP, then I've got several months of experience with it, as I had CM on my previous phone.

CM isn't really AOSP anymore. They were once upon a time, but these days they've become so embedded with CAF that it has made their work incompatible with various 3rd party work (kernels primarily).

great ROM, had to pull it off so I could run a Verizon app, need to get it back on and just leave it. :)
I don't suppose there is any movement forward in getting AOSP roms to be able to "see" the FM chip in the phones?

I actually just changed the clientbaseid to (hopefully) allow VZW users to download and use the carrier-based applications. Try out the latest test build on our G+ and let me know if that helps.

As for the FM radio portion, I believe CM has it available, but that requires digging into their HW repos and I'm not so sure that's something I really want to do, tbh. The less CM, the better.

Copy That. I found the test build and am downloading it now. Hopefully its a slow day at work and I can flash it now :) Thanks for the ROM!!

I'm with ya, and I appreciate the help, but my camera under settings, has Resolution & Quality, Save Location (On/Off) Advanced and Help & Feed Back
Under advanced, All there is, is a button for Manual Exposure.

If I can figure out how to screenshot, I will show you.

Are you using the Google Camera? If so, that's why you can't find the option. You'll need to use the stock camera that comes included in the ROM.

I am using google camera, because that is the only camera that came with the rom when it booted up. My guess is the pa gapps deleted it. So, I can either dirty flash I assume or download the stock camera from the play store.

Thanks for keeping up with me.

Yeah, whatever gapps you're using removed the stock camera.
