seems to be working great. Never could get the screen on/off animations to work but now works great and i have actually noticed that since i have not installed the SetCpu app and let the kernel and gingerbread do their job, my battery life has gone way up and my phone is still running very fast.

Mind you this is from only a few days between flashes.

How have all of your battery life been with this rom?
And are you using SetCpu with it as well?

No need to make a new thread for each version Buzz. If we did that we'd probably fill up the whole all things root page, at the rate freeyo is releasing them :p I brought that post over to this thread.

oooook Xyro, sorry ;) This is really true eheheh
Please change the main thread name in ".....2.3.3" and not "....2.3.2", just for a correct information ;)
I would like to upload some screenshots (for a more complete information) but I've got some problems with the size of my *.png files. Now I try to resize them with photoshop.

Well spotted :)

You could also host them on an image sharing site and link them here, rather than uploading them to AF. That way the file size shouldn't be a problem.

EDIT: Never mind, I see you've already added them.

Ahh will give it a try!
Bit of a noob question here but; how did you change the colours of the icons in the notification bar, buzz?

In Cronos ROMs there's a theme chooser application with three different themes. They're different expecially in the main colours.
-Default ORANGE
-Blue
-Green

Here there are two screenshot about it ;)

I'm so sorry for this "very fast" update but..... there were two stupid bugs wich needed a little fix.... and so.....

Bugs: Heavy Graphics Load System Crash. (Library Exception)

Download CG-1.9.4:

Cronos Android, Android on Steroids! • CG-1.9.4_.zip

You can flash it over your ROM without any kind of wipe... it's a complete ROM but..... it has just two files modified..... not a very important and big change on it :)

And...... if you want...... Here you can download a "Radio Update" the version is "63.18.55.06SU_6.35.17.03" :)

..........please note that i've updated the first answer with a lot of information :) for everybody who came here for his first time..........
Hope You'll like it... there are many different screenshots :D

You're not using the cronos governor? The more recent schedulers (cronos/villain/smartass) seem to speed up/slow down on demand like the one you're using, but they seem to be quicker to react when I use them.

I don't know exactly what's governor... what's his function, what's the difference about cronos, ondemand, performance... :p ehmmm.... ooopppsss :D
Default settings, on reboot, are Cronos, 352/614, everytime.

The governor is responsible for telling the processor what speed to run at. You set the min/max, but the governor is the one that changes it within the min/max. Different governors are more battery friendly, like on-demand, which only runs things quickly when you need it. Some keep things running at full speed all the time, like the performance governor.

However all the custom ROM devs make their own, and it's generally the best idea to go with the one they made. These governors are newer, and are capable of running in a battery friendly way without any noticeable drop in performance, giving you the best of both worlds :)

So Cronos is your best bet on this ROM.

It's an animation that was introduced in gingerbread - it's supposed to look like an old CRT TV turning off, although it doesn't perform too well on our phones. Go to CM settings, Display settings and disable the screen on and off animations.

It doesn't really matter I don't think, given that the radio is unaffected by any other type file you flash. I would do it after everything else. It's important to remember, as I'm assuming this is your first radio flash, that it won't behave the same as normal flashes. The phone will reboot and then flash the radio, where you'll see an image of an arrow coming out of a box towards a phone on your screen. Also be aware that if you lose power/pull the battery during a radio flash, you could brick your phone. So make sure you're charged up :)
