Help Root help

Checked all of the "root guides" and have to say that it is all confusing. Which to use first Odin? Superneclick? or how to use either on of those.
This forum has been priceless in helping with other issues with my i777. Thanks for your help ROOTING Rookie .
FYI I'm on 4.1.2

I haven't looked at any of the root guides for yours yet.

But they are pretty much the same, if you do the super one click (more than likely it's a modified odin. All you would need to do is plug your device into the computer, let the one click detect your device and click start.

If you go the odin route, download odin and the tar for your device, plug your device in and let odin detect. Load the tar file into odin under the pda option and click start.

If all threads are a success you'll then be rooted.
