Ok my friend rooted my samsung charge a few months ago. I didnt want it rooted anymore. So i decided to do the stock update that popped up, and it restarted and now just shows a black screen with SAMSUNG in white.

How do i get my phone to turn on? (i know nothing about rooting)

Please give me an easy guideline to get my phone to turn back on ! i need it for my alarm

Dude, your screwed. You just made your phone a giant paper weight.
I'm just kidding. These are the steps you need to take to fix your phone
1. Download Odin
2. Download samsung drivers and install
3. Download stock version of Droid charge
4. if you don't have an unzipping program, Download it and install
5. Unzip stock version
6 Put your phone in download mode in odin
a. you put in download mode by opening Odin, remove your battery, connect your phone to your computer, hold volume down. Should be an android guy and a triangle thing.
7. select PDA (important to go PDA) and choose your operating system that you downloaded and unzipped.

8. put your battery back in andpush start. Let it do its thing. it is copying the operating system over you broken one
9. enjoy your unrooted and totally boring phone. Should you decide to load a Rom, just download it and run in odin
