Root Rooting Samsung Galaxy 8.9?

Hey i have been looking for a way in rooting my samsung galaxy 8.9 but carnt find anything onit ive tried a few but one update almost bricked the device.

Im on a contract with A carrier not sure if its worth it?

Its is a GT-P7320T but I will try those methods since there similar models.
I tried the above It wasnt explained correctly and I tried adding root.zip and flashing and it returned an error 'zip not supported' thanks for trying to help.

There not as easy to root as the Apple devices are..

Ive managed to root the device by the thread Cafe.. specified , Thanksfor your help Only question if i ever needed to take the device to the carrier how could I un root?

I think they have that in the same thread, but I've never had to do it. I bought my GST8.9 new but unwarrantied with no carrier.

I think I wont be rooting anymore I was browsing the internet and the device just turned it self off it wouldnt go past the boot screen/loader luckily(with huge luck) ive managed to install the orginal firmware, at first it was saying the md5 was invaild. Think i,m to scared to re-root since i,m also under a cononly tract and the tablet is my main device(that lets me on the internet)

The main reason I needed to root is to Record the screen since there isnt any apps that dont need root to record the screen.

I love to root the device but it bricking it self after root must im always under risk of it bricking itself even worse next time could be a un recoverable Hard Brick?

I want to record the screen for YouTube tutorials but seems like root is the only way?

You could download the YouTube videos. There are free apps in the Play Store for that.

Apparently not anymore. The apps made to do so now all say they don't work with YouTube due to YouTube's license agreement. Sorry about that.

Ok, I thought about rooting again but if I download the one app that needs root will there still always be a chance of bricking?

There is little chance of hard bricking the device which means you can't even boot into download/recovery mode. If you soft brick, you can always download the right ROM from sammobile.com and install it with Odin. That restores it to original condition. It's always best to have a nandroid backup and the ROM from sammobile.com before you begin.

Thats the reason I carn,t root since there are these risks and when I tried to reinstall the orginal firmware I got 'Md5 invaild' a few times before it worked. What would that mean?

I like to root again at the same time I carn,t, If the device did hard brick then I would be paying off A useless device.

Ok so is it worth re-rooting? I wont be installing custom roms just apps.
