I just got an HTC Desire running Froyo, but I must say I prefer the user interface on the Nexus One over the Sense interface. Any idea on how to change the OS?
    Thanks:)

user interface on the Nexus One=Vanilla Android. You'll have greater search success if you use the term "Vanilla Android"

Search for Launcher2 apk, it's floating around on XDA. There's Launcher42 on the Market but I wouldn't get that since it seems to be copied and probably malicious (better safe than sorry). Also there's HelixLauncher but it's a bit dated.

+1 for launcherpro plus, very similar to vanilla android, or as customised as you like :0)

It is very similar. I run it over vanilla. Its much more customisable, as you say.

Yeah I agree with LPP plus you can make it looks exactly like N1, when you long press the far left & right buttons you can add homescreen dots and ditch the dock bg.
