Samsung Galaxy S will not switch on after I switched it off

Hi Team, Sorry if this has been discussed before I am new here so not sure if an answer has been given
Lat night I switched off my SGS 19000 when I tried switching it on it just flashes the white samsung logo and this goes on and off. I tried the hard boot (3 button method) I tried deleting user dat and reset to factory setting but it does not allow this it seems to have a proplem here on of the messages says
e:format_volume:rfs format failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p2

Please help I need to get up a running ASAP
Kies is not working I have never been able to connect my device to kies and now it says devicesis not supported by kies 2.0

please help
