Samsung to fix lag bug on U.S. S21's

It seems it is not U.S. users imagination, there really is a lag bug on their Snapdragon models on their Android 12, One UI 4, rollout.

The good news is that Samsung have promised to fix it in the next update.

This issue does not affect the global, Exynos, devices.

"One such bug breaks the adaptive refresh rate on the Galaxy S21 series and locks the display to 60Hz, leading to a janky scrolling experience in apps."

Samsung will fix Galaxy S21's Android 12 UI lag in a future update

Samsung have begun rolling out a new update to fix the lag on U.S. models.

"The new build is G99xUSQU4BUK9 (where "x" is different according to which S21 family member you have), and it's coming to replace the previous G99xUSQU4BUK7 on US carrier models. For now, the new build showed up at Verizon, but we expect it to reach the other carriers' units very soon."

When does this new update coming for India because my S21 Ultra has lagging issues.

The lag bug, also known as the screen refresh rate, is not an issue for Exynos devices such as those in India. It only affects the Snapdragon models.
